Gold for MRC
MERCY Regional College students brought home a swag of medals from last Thursday’s Greater Western Region track and field event in Ballarat.

MERCY Regional College students brought home a swag of medals from last Thursday’s Greater Western Region track and field event in Ballarat.
A large group of students travelled to Ballarat’s Llanberris Reserve to compete, with an array of medals won on the day.
MRC gold medalists will now represent the college at the state championships in Melbourne next Monday, October 17:
• Ava Cunningham – under 13 girls 1500m;
• Piper Stephens – under 13 girls 800m;
• Hamish Molan – under 14 boys triple jump and long jump;
• Ruby Darcy – under 15 girls 100m, 200m, high jump, triple jump and long jump;
• Archie Taylor – under 15 boys 800m;
• Myles Sinnott – under 16 boys 400m and 800m;
• Rhys Unwin – under 16 boys triple jump;
• Myles Sinnott, Rhys Unwin, Ben McGlade and Jonty Robertson – under 16 boys relay;
• Safari McVilly – under 20 boys 100m, 200m and 400m; and
• Gryff Dwyer – under 20 boys high jump.
