Great job ladies!

On a sadder note our division one team was beaten 3/2 by Terang. It was a mighty effort for them to get into the final and they are determined to build on their experience next year.

Well done ladies, better luck next year!

This Sunday, May 22 we have two men’s teams in the grand finals. Division two scratch and division one handicap will play at Heywood.

The golf club wishes you all the very best of luck. Enjoy the time afterwards with teammates celebrating outstanding seasons on the golf course.

A small group of hardy golfers battled through wind and rain to play a stableford round on Wednesday.

Jess Moulden (22) won with 33 points, while Marg White (22) was runner-up with 32 points and won the nine hole competition with the best score on the top course.

Nearest the pins were hard to come by. Jess Moulden was on the 9th (second shot) and the 17th. Second shot on the 16th was claimed by Marg White.

Balls down the line went to Gayle Gill and David Horan.

Next week is a Par round and the final leg of the Round Robin. Liz Fry is on duty.
