Golf notes Cobden
LAST Wednesday saw the 16 players form eight pairs in the Royal Women’s Hospital 4BBB.
Western District Golf Association in Division 4 Pennant winners: Back L to R: Rhonda Alexander, Janine Stevens, Jeannine White Front L to R: Sherine Healey (Capt) and Carmel Darcy.
Winners were Sherine Healey and Thelma Green with 43 points, from runners-up Evelyn Boyd and Judy Myers 42 points on a count back.
Nearest the pins:
A Grade: Ellen Darcy (4th) and Carmel Darcy (10th).
B Grade: Marie Smith (4th) and Jeannine White (10th).
C Grade: Jo Hintum (4th) and Boyd (10th).
Men: Dave Stewart.
Nearest the Pin Camper-down Pre-Mix 7th was Deb Ferrari.
Nearest the Pins: Second Shot (8th) A Grade - Sherine Healey;Third Shot (8th) C Grade – Kate Parlour.
Balls down the line went to Marie Smith and Deb Ferrari42 pts, and Ellen Darcy and Kate Parlour 42 pts.
Cobden were the winners of the Western District Golf Association in Division 4 Pennant.
