Good falls in April
Good falls: Camperdown, Lismore and Derrinallum experienced rainfall above the long-term monthly average during April. 2023D

RAINFALL in April has been higher across the region than in the previous year, as raingfall above the long-term average continues.
Camperdown recorded a monthly total of 87.6mm, above the long-term monthly average of 50.4mm and last year’s total of 69.5mm.
The highest daily rainfall was 10.0mm, recorded on April 12.
Camperdown’s rainfall total for 2023 is currently 231.6mm.
Meanwhile, Lismore recorded 53.4mm of rainfall in April.
This figure surpasses 2022’s total of 41.0mm of rainfall and is higher than the long-term average of 50.0mm for April.
The highest daily rainfall was recorded on April 16, where 11.6mm hit the ground.
Lismore’s total rainfall for this year is currently 142.2mm.
Derrinallum experienced 56.0mm in April, above 2022’s monthly total of 35.6mm.
This figure is above the long-term average of 50.5 for the month of April.
The highest daily rainfall was 12.4mm, which fell on April 16.
So far, Derrinallum has experienced 138.2mm of rainfall for 2023.
