Good round from Green

LACHIE Green had a strong round at the Cobden Golf Club last Saturday to take the A grade win.

Thirty-one players contested the Frank Northeast Winter Cup (par) round one and privilege pot on the weekend.

Lachie Green won A grade with +5 while C. Sargeant was runner-up on +4 on countback from T. Gardner +4.

B grade went to P. Kaiser on +2 from H. Rix +2 on countback.

Nearest the pin: 4th G. Rix, 7th C. Cobbledick, 10th C. Sargeant, closest second on the second P. Kaiser and closest on the 14th S. Rix.

Lachie Green also won the privilege pot on +5.

Balls down the line: T. Gardner, S. Rix, J. Walker, G. Rix, D. Buckle and H. Green.

This weekend will be Frank Northeast Winter Cup round two.
