CAMPERDOWN College had great reason to celebrate last Friday night as they toasted the graduating class of 2022.

More than 60 people from the college community including proud parents and families gathered at the Reid Stockfeed Function Centre to formally farewell the 16 students completing their final year of secondary education.

Year 12 co-ordinator Katie Taylor said it was a lovely evening enjoyed by all in attendance.

“The students all have a variety of plans and careers ahead of them, from Ag to IT, travel to teaching. We wish every one of them the very best,” she said.

“The students all welcomed the opportunity to get dressed up and it was wonderful to see them looking so matured for the occasion.

“Addressing the crowd on the night was acting principal Vicki Angus who passed on some heartfelt advice for the future and school council president Luke Webb who spoke to opportunities ahead for the graduating group.

“VCAL student Isaac Baulch and college captains Sydney Bateman and Eve Britton thanked staff and their families for their support during the last few difficult years…there was lots of laughter and kind words shared throughout the evening.”

Year 12 exams are now complete and students across the state will be eagerly awaiting VCE and ATAR results released on December 12 at 7am.
