The club’s C grade and 18 and under netball sides have both earned a spot in their respective Mininera League grand final matches on Saturday.

In the 18 and under competition, the Demons put on a strong performance across the court against Penshurst in last Saturday’s preliminary final to defeat the Bombers 28-23.

The team will be hoping for a repeat performance when they take on top-of-the-table Woorndoo Mortlake in tomorrow’s grand final at Dunkeld from 10am.

The Demons’ C grade side enjoyed a week’s break after defeating Ararat 28-22 in the semi-final round on August 31.

They will now face Tatyoon in tomorrow’s grand final, beginning at 11.15am.

The Demons’ senior and reserve footballers weren’t so fortunate with their results last weekend, with both sides ending their finals campaign on Sunday.

In the senior football, the Demons found Wickliffe Lake Bolac too strong, going down 6.4.40 to 13.15.93.

Lachie Constable kicked four goals for the side while Josh Sanders and Blake Scott each contributed one.

Constable was among the best, along with Charlie Brett, James Halloran, Harry Bufton, Sanders and Hayden Brett.

After finishing fourth on the league ladder after the home and away rounds, the Demons’ reserves put in a big effort against the second-placed Glenthompson Dunkeld but fell just eight-points short, 9.6.60 to 10.8.68.

Steven Fisher, Riley Browne (three goals), Beau Ketchen, Ryan Marquand, Samuel Miller and Jason Germon (two goals) were named in the best.

Other goal kickers on the day were Matthew Bacon, Mitchell Dellar, Luke Fellows and Ryan Marquand.
