The Christmas break up is Friday December 15 so don’t forget to get your name down for a night full of fun and laughter.

The Christmas hamper will be drawn and the silent auction now has two sets of bowls.

Put your bid in and remember to mark which set you are bidding on (anyone can bid).

Division one competed in the annual Breast Cancer fundraiser against Colac Bowling Club wearing our pink shirts.

We won three rinks under the dome and what a win it was.

Mark, Darren, Brad and Lud played Tim Hassett’s rink on the show rink.

On the 10th end they were seven-all, on end 20 Mark’s team was 19-15 up.

Mark’s team only won two of five ends but hung on to win 23-22.

The next rink of Matthew, Lenny, Kelvin and Maria started like a shot out of a gun, leading 17-2 on the 10th end.

On end 20 they had extended their lead to 31-6.

At the end of their game they had only let the opposition score on six ends, winning 36-8.

Ron, Barry, Harry and Geoff played the in-form Will Collihole and his team.

On the third end the scores were level but by the 10th end Camperdown was 5-12 down.

By the 20th end the score was 14-24.Ron’s team only scored singles on two ends to go down 16-29.

Luke, Fred, Vicki and Jayden were the last rink and they took control from the start and led 12-3 on the 10th end.

By the 20th they held their nine shot advantage and went on to win 24-14.

This great win keeps us close to the four with only four shots the difference between Camperdown and 4th placed Apollo Bay (who we will face on Saturday at Camperdown).

Michael Nixon stepped up and the team was four- all on the fifth end, but by the 10th they led 12-8.

On the 17th end they were down 18-23 but won the last three ends to win the game 25-24.

Tom Hose’s rink was another tight game. They were three shots down on the fifth end 3-6, but fought back to draw 21-21.

Stan Adeney’s rink had a start that no team wants to have, 0-11 but they picked up five shots to be down 5-16 on the eighth.

They tried hard but just couldn’t peg back Lorne’s lead and went down 17-26
