CAMPERDOWN junior cyclists enjoyed perfect conditions last Friday night for the 19th Harold Lamb Memorial Trophy.

CAMPERDOWN junior cyclists enjoyed perfect conditions last Friday night for the 19th Harold Lamb Memorial Trophy.
With a trophy on the line, all juniors rode hard, with all nine participants equalling or beating their personal best times.
Josh Thompson smashed his personal best to get under 11 minutes for the first time.
Liam Taylor came second and despite having a few weeks off managed to get a personal best, finishing ahead of the ever-improving Emi Narik who took two minutes off her previous best time.
Oliver Clark was the fastest rider, completing the course in 9.15.
Times from last Friday were as follows: Josh Thompson 10.35, Liam Taylor 14.06, Emi Mason 15.54, Mason Narik 11.26, Zane Vogels 10.06, Ava Cunningham 10.31, Zack Regan 10.37, Oliver Clark 9.15 and Quinn Clark 10.29.
Zane Vogels was victorious in tough conditions the previous week, which saw riders’ times being, on average, a minute behind their best.
Mason Narik continued to show his strength as a young rider coming in second and Zack Regan came third, consistently giving it his all to get a spot on the podium.
Times from March 16 were as follows: Zane Vogels 11.19, Mason Narik 12.22, Zack Regan 11.41, Ava Cunningham 11.42, Lawson Clark 14.28, Oliver Clark 10.08, Josh Thompson 12.44, Quinn Clark 11.37 and Emi Narik 19.05.
