Happy Mother’s Day
SIMPSON Primary School children spent Monday morning celebrating the mums in their lives.
School celebration: Avannah, Stephanie, Harvey and Kayden Delahey celebrated an early Mother’s Day celebration at Simpson Primary School on Monday.
SIMPSON Primary School children spent Monday morning celebrating the mums in their lives.
A pancake breakfast followed by Mother’s Day craft activities saw mum’s invited into the school for the morning.
School principal Melissa Berry was thrilled with the response from families.
“We’re really happy with the turnout,” she said.
“I think about 80 per cent of our families were able to be here.
“They were all here bright and early for yummy pancakes and it was lovely to have all the families back in the school.”
Mrs Berry said the morning was a good way to celebrate Mother’s Day.
