High rainfall continues
RAINFALL figures through September were above the long-term average in Terang and Mortlake as Victorians welcome the warmer weather.

RAINFALL figures through September were above the long-term average in Terang and Mortlake as Victorians welcome the warmer weather.
Terang experienced 88mm of rain during the month, above the long-term September average of 80.6mm.
The highest daily rainfall occurred on September 27, when 15.6mm hit the ground.
The figure was an increase on the previous year, when 71mm fell during September 2021.
Terang has experienced 620.8mm so far on the year, closing in on the long-term yearly average of 779mm.
Meanwhile in Mortlake, results were similar with 70.4mm of rain hitting the ground.
This was a sharp increase on the 58.9mm long-term monthly average.
The highest daily rainfall occurred on September 19, when 14.4mm of rain hit the ground.
Mortlake has experienced 481.8mm of rainfall on the year to date, closing in on the long-term yearly average of 583.6mm.
