Hockey talent on show
CAMPERDOWN College students have shown their talents on the hockey field, finishing third at the regional hockey tournament earlier this week.
The mixed team of year five and six students from Camperdown College who competed in Hamilton earlier this week.
The group of year five and six students travelled to Hamilton where they competed in a tournament on Tuesday.
All 12 students performed exceptionally well against strong opposition.
After narrowly losing their first game against St Arnaud 1-0 they bounced back to defeat Nhill Utheran 6-1 before winning 7-0 against Ballarat Grammar.
They also did well in a ‘friendly’ match against the Woodford girls.
In their final match of the day, they were narrowly defeated by Hamilton and Alexandra College 3-1 which earned them third position overall.
Camperdown College is extremely proud of all players, who performed well during what was a high-level competition.
