Hooked into Hockey in full swing
HOOKED into Hockey is now in full swing for members of the Corangamite Hockey Association.
Saturday morning’s modified competition players continue to impress.
Blue defeated Purple 3-2, with goals scored by Will (2) and Lillian (1) for Blue, and Izzy and Jacob for Purple.
Umpire points were awarded to Noah and Lexi for the Blue team and Jacob and Lane for Purple.
Green defeated Yellow 2-0, with Lawson and Kaitlyn scoring one goal each for Green.
Umpire points went to Oliver and Kaitlyn for Green, and George and Henry for the Yellow team.
In the under 16 competition this week, Corangamite took on Mariners in what was a great game by both sides.
Unfortunately, Mariners scored a goal in the third quarter and despite many attempts, Corangamite couldn’t convert.
Well done to Jonah for receiving the ‘You Rock’ award and many thanks to the five players who played in the Strikers hybrid team at 5pm.
Last Saturday Corangamite faced off against Technique and emerged victorious, 4-0.
Jess was awarded the GOAT title for her impressive performance.
Corangamite’s women’s team played a brilliant game in Warrnambool, with scores ending at 4-1.
