Horan wins at Cobden

TWENTY-three players contested the monthly medal and putting at Cobden Golf Club last Saturday.

C. Horan took out A grade with a score of nett 71, followed by T. Gardner on 72.

J. Mason won B grade with 69 followed by runner-up M. Absalom on 78.

Nearest the pin: 4th C. Sargeant, 7th T. Gardner, 10th J. Walker, closest second on the 2nd D. Drake and closest on the 14th was jackpotted.

Balls down the line: D. Stewart, Lach Green, S. Dawson, C. Sargeant and H. Green.

The monthly medal went to J. Mason with nett 69 while the putting was won by C. Horan with 28.

The final D grade championship saw G. Byrne defeat K.Duffin 5-4.

This Saturday will be privilege pot (Stableford).
