Ideal golf conditions
WEDNESDAY’S stroke round for the women’s monthly medal was played in ideal conditions at Camperdown.
The top course offered plenty of run.
Gabby Gill won A grade and claimed the February medal with an excellent round of 89 (20) 69 net.
Jake Bateman was runner-up in A grade with 89 (18) 71 net.
Chris Farmer won B grade with 101 (30) 71 net and also won the putting competition with 32 putts.
Tracey Baker won the nine hole competition with a net 34.5 on her second round on the top course.
Nearest the pins: 2nd Jenn Downie, 9th Tracey Baker, round two 2nd Dave Absolom, 9th Liz Fry.
Balls down the line: Tracey Baker, Dave Absolom, Jenn Downie Doreen Horan and Kerri Absolom.
Next week is a stableford round and the third leg of the Noelene Sadler series.
