Join the run home
AN invitation has been extended to community members interested in joining the final steps of a fundraising run this Friday.
A team of 12 local runners is traversing their way from Adelaide to Terang as part of Run 4 CJD 2024, in a bid to raise funds in support of research efforts to find a cure for Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease.
Terang’s Chris O’Connor, who is among the runners making the trek, said the group welcomed anyone interested in joining them on the home stretch from Noorat to Terang.
The runners are aiming to leave Noorat to make the final six kilometre run back to Terang at 4pm this Friday, October 18.
At the time of publication, the fundraiser has raised almost $12,000.
