RAY White Rural Timboon have made a special call out this Christmas to help ensure every child has presents under the tree.

The initiative is part of the ‘A Little Ray of Giving’ campaign which hopes to make Christmas brighter for locals who might need a helping hand.

Residents are invited to donate gifts under the Christmas tree at the Ray White Rural Timboon office, which will be distributed to those in need.

Ray White Rural Timboon’s Stacey Hintum said the business is pleased to be involved in the initiative for the first time this year.

“A Little Ray of Giving is Ray White’s annual Christmas charity drive, which is now in its 12th year,” she said.

“This year we are excited to support MacKillop Family Services Warrnambool as we are aware of the wonderful work they do within the local community, supporting children and their foster families.

“The campaign is all about the opportunity to give back to the local community and ensure everyone has a reason to smile this Christmas.”

Ms Hintum said Ray White believes every child should be able to enjoy the excitement of unwrapping a gift on Christmas morning.

“This year we also have ‘Little Ray’ the Christmas Elf arriving for 12 days of Elf on the shelf in our office,” she said.

“Stay tuned on our socials to see what fun and antics Little Ray gets up to in our office.”

Ms Hintum said residents have until December 13 to donate their gifts, which are to be unwrapped.

“Please consider donating a gift or voucher to this very worthy cause,” she said.

Ms Hintum said she was hoping the campaign was a success.

“I think it’s important that the community digs deep as times are getting tougher and there are a lot of people not as fortunate,” he said.

Presents can be dropped into the Timboon office at 2/15 Main Street.
