July rainfall low
THERE might be plenty of water around, but July was actually well below the long-term average rainfall figures.

THERE might be plenty of water around, but July was actually well below the long-term average rainfall figures.
Cobden and surrounds saw 47mm throughout July.
The long-term average for Cobden’s rainfall in July is 92.4mm.
The highest daily rainfall was 11mm which fell on July 9.
So far to date this year a total of 505mm of rain has hit the ground over Cobden and surrounds, well up on last year’s total of 458.2mm for the same time.
