COBDEN’S under 16 cricketers have finished runners-up in the South West Cricket Association for season 2023.
The Knights took on Bookaar in last Sunday’s grand final at Camperdown’s Lakes Complex.
Despite scoring a creditable 4/126 in their 35 overs, the Knights fell six wickets short, with Bookaar finishing the day at 4/129.
Parker Walsh 40, Campbell Walsh 25, Jonty Robertson 20 and Eddie Walsh 19 were the best of the Knights batters.
Parker also had a great day out with the ball, finishing with figures of 2/13 off his six overs while Eddie finished with 1/21 off six.
