Among the awards was the presentation of a Life Membership.

Music director Jane McSween, who has been a part of the band for 10 years, was awarded the Life Membership.

The presentation included an engraved pen, hand-crafted baton holder and an engraved trophy recognizing her dedication to the band.

Ms McSween said she was incredibly proud and delighted to be the band’s musical director.

Wayne Walton was recognised as the Most Improved Senior Player, with Most Improved Junior Player awarded to Lucy Malon.

Gary Alexander was awarded a Victorian Band Leagues 50 years membership badge for his service to the band.

Ross Irvine received the Alexander trophy for Band Person of the Year.
