Little aths shine
LAST Friday night saw week 10 of competition resume at the Camperdown College sport precinct oval.
Around 90 athletes enjoyed the night’s events.
What initially looked like being a stormy night ended up being perfect athletics weather, with the rain only kicking in as the last events finished.
The centre welcomed Little Athletics Victoria regional development officer Kelly Costin, who helped to take some coaching sessions, discussed upcoming LAVic development and coaching and training opportunities, and engaged with families and athletes.
This week is the last week for the 2023 year and it will be the Christmas-themed night.]
All families and athletes are encouraged to get in the spirit and dress up. Spot prizes will be awarded.
Regional track and field entries will open in the coming weeks with a save the date to come soon around this and all of our important upcoming dates, including post-Christmas return to the track.
