Camperdown currently sits in sixth place but is knocking on the door of neighbours Cobden in fifth, just half a game ahead.
The senior ladder remains tight in the run home to finals, with just two games separating second from sixth with five rounds remaining.
Round 13 last weekend saw the Magpies travel to Reid Oval to take on the Blues in what was a close game for the majority.
After a strong first half the Blues went into the main break with a 10-point lead but the visitors gained momentum in the third and pushed through to turn the scores around, heading into the final term eight-points ahead.
A concentrated effort in the last by the Magpies saw them come home 15-point winners.
Final scores were Camperdown 11.13.79 to Warrnambool 7.22.64.
Best for the Magpies were Judah Dundon, Cameron Spence, Zach Sinnott, Archie McBean, Dominic Absalom and Hamish Sinnott.
Both Angus and Sam Gordon kicked two each for the Magpies while Dominic Absalom, Judah Dundon, Luke Kavenagh, Hamish Sinnott, Zach Sinnott, Cameron Spence and Harry Sumner added one each.
Camperdown’s reserves again found the going tough, defeated by the Blues by 102-points, 16.13.109 to 1.1.7.
Darren Cheeseman was the Magpies only goal scorer for the day and was named in the best alongside Eddie Lucas, Gavin Brown, Wilba Cheeseman, Xavier O’Connor and Jack Smith.
The under 18.5s are still searching for their first win of the season but continue to work hard.
Final scores were Warrnambool 15.17.107 to Camperdown 0.1.1.
Among the best for the Magpies were Brock Stephens, Hugh Mason, Tarkyn Love, Wilba Cheeseman, Taj Podger and Eddie Baker.
It was a mixed bag of results for Camperdown on the netball courts, winning three of the seven games.
Results were as follows:
Open – Warrnambool defeated Camperdown 75-35. Best players: Isobel Sinnott and Chloe Davis.
Division one – Warrnambool defeated Camperdown 37-21. Best players: Kirby Stonehouse, Chloe O’Brien and Annabel Lucas.
Division two – Warrnambool defeated Camperdown 34-16.
Division three – Camperdown defeated Warrnambool 37-35. Best players: Tanisha Dooley, Hannah Plozza and Sondi Guthrie.
17 and under – Warrnambool defeated Camperdown 63-10. Best players: Eliza O’Neil, Remy Gaut and Isla Fleming.
15 and under – Camperdown defeated Warrnambool 24-18. Best: Indiana Cameron, Greta Neal and Breeana Daffy.
13 and under – Camperdown defeated Warrnambool 19-17. Best: Madison Lucas, Taylor Cameron and Sasha Kerr.
