The Magpies now sit sixth, just two points behind neighbours the Cobden Bombers.
Round 12 at home proved a successful one for the team, defeating North by 16 points, 11.10.76 to 8.12.60.
After an evenly matched opening quarter, the Magpies went into the second term with a three-point margin, which was extended to six points by the main break.
Wintry conditions in the third term saw both sides unable to add to the scoreboard while in the fourth the Magpies were effective in front of goals, adding seven majors while containing the Eagles to five.
In his 100th senior game, Charlie Lucas was named best for the Magpies alongside Sam Gordon, Cameron Spence, Brendan Richardson, Shane Morgan and Harry Sumner.
Gordon booted five for the day while Lucas added three, Angus Gordon two and Judah Dundon contributed one.
Camperdown’s reserves continue to struggle on the board and sit bottom of the ladder with just one win to date.
Final scores last Saturday were Camperdown 5.7.37 to North Warrnambool 6.13.49.
Hugh Gordon, James McVilly, Devon Coates, Dale McDowell and Tarkyn Love were named best for the Magpies.
Goal scorers for the side were Tim Fitzgerald (2), Hugh Gordon, Tarkyn Love and Stephen Walters.
Camperdown’s under 18.5s are still on the hunt for that elusive first win, going down by 107 points to the Eagles – 15.18.108 to 0.1.1.
Best for the Magpies were Brock Stephens, Tarkyn Love, Eddie Baker, Wilba Cheeseman, Ned Molan and Lenny Stephens.
The Magpies’ open netballers also found the day tough, going down to North Warrnambool 35-62.

Division one – Camperdown lost to North Warrnambool 27-37. Best: Jessica Cameron and Annabel Lucas.
Division two – Camperdown lost to North Warrnambool 21-47. Best: Rachael Giblett and Jessica Van den Eynde.
Division three – Camperdown defeated North Warrnambool 53-22. Best players: Hannah Plozza and Melanie Van den Eynde.
17 and under – Camperdown lost to North Warrnambool 14-55. Best: Eliza O’Neil, Isla Fleming and Ellie Rickard.
15 and under – Camperdown defeated North Warrnambool 24-23. Best players: Macy Mahony and Indiana Cameron.
15 and under reserves – Camperdown defeated North Warrnambool 19-14.
13 and under – Camperdown defeated North Warrnambool 35-0. Best players: Kiara Love, Sasha Kerr and Madison Lucas.
Camperdown will head to Reid Oval tomorrow to take on the Warrnambool Blues in round 13.
