CAMPERDOWN Golf Magpies’ division one Saturday bowlers enjoyed their best win of the season last weekend.

By wd-news

The side defeated the in-form cross town rivals, Camperdown Giants, by nine shots, 99-90.

Paul Richards’ rink of Chris Pearson, John Molan and James Henry are having a great season so far, notching up their fourth consecutive win to beat Darren Coverdale’s rink 30-12.

Glenn Winsall’s rink of Peter Reilly, Mark Winsall and Greg Teal went down to Ron Cameron’s rink 19-35.

David Bateman’s rink of Gary Body, Jamie Norton and Jack Paasse had a great win over Matthew Brewer’s rink, 29-21.

Craig Skene’s rink of Billy Conheady, Andrew Anderson and Taj Merrett had a great tussle with Luke Wright’s rink but eventually went down by one shot, 21-22.

Tomorrow Golf will have a road trip to Simpson who, after winning their first three games of the season, have dropped their last two so Golf will go with confidence and hopefully come home with a win.
