Musical day out: Music lovers will be in for a treat this Saturday at the third annual Tracks event in Timboon.

IT will be all aboard for a jam-packed afternoon of family friendly fun when the Tracks festival steams into Timboon next weekend.

The third annual event will run from 2pm to 6pm on Saturday, April 2 at the old railway precinct.

It will be a great opportunity for music lovers from across the south west to shake their caboose and go a little loco.

Corangamite Shire Council councillor Kate Makin invited everyone from across the shire and beyond to enjoy the free event.

“Bring your deck chairs or picnic rugs and settle in for a fantastic afternoon of live entertainment,”she said.

“There will be music by singer songwriter Heidi Gass, Louie and the Melways, Rhiz & The Sugarplums and The Not Dead Yet Band.

“It will be a great opportunity to get out, meet up with friends and just have a good time.”

Cr Makin said food and drink would be available so the crowd could have a stress-free dinner in the park.

“There will be a pizza van, Twisto’s potatoes, Jet’s dumplings & 3M Catering for hot drinks and delicious treats,” she said.

“Keayang Maar Vineyard and Sow and Piglets Brewery will also be on site to provide the drinks for responsible adults.

“So round up your friends and come on down to enjoy the show.”
