Makeover begins for beloved amphitheatre
TIMBOON’S beloved amphitheatre is getting a makeover.
Construction Underway: Timboon’s amphitheatre is being updated with a roof along with an extension.
Corangamite Shire Council chief executive officer David Rae said the amphitheatre stage is being updated with the installation of a roof, along with an extension to the existing stage.
“The works will provide an enhanced stage for performers and audiences alike with weather protection for the performers and a bigger performance area,” he said.
“The roof has been installed and the stage extension will begin soon, with completion in the coming month.”
The new-look amphitheatre stage area will be ready for the upcoming Graze the Day on Saturday, November 23 which will feature performances by 19 Twenty, the Bluestone River Band and Lee Sonnyboy Morgan and The Storm.
