Man trapped for an hour
A CONTRACTOR kept a cool head after clipping a powerline while trimming a property hedge last week.

The incident happened at about 11am last Thursday, April 7 near the corner of Black Rock Road and the Princes Highway.
Camperdown Sergeant David Gaw said a tree lopping contractor was trimming hedges when he clipped an overhead powerline.
“He’s got the large arm (of the machinery) and clipped a power line,” he said.
“One line came down and was resting beside the cabin.”
Sgt Gaw said the contractor remained inside the machinery and called emergency services.
Police, SES and CFA attended the incident, which took about an hour to disconnect the power to the line.
No injuries were received during the incident.
In other police news, police have called for information following the theft of a lawn mower.
At about 3pm on April 7, a Camperdown resident was mowing his lawns on Leura Street.
The man went inside for a cuppa and when he came back out his mower had been stolen.
The mower was described as a Victa 19 inch self propelled mower.
