March proved dry
THOSE hoping for rain in March were left disappointed as the dry run continued.

Rainfall: Paddocks remained dry after another month of low rainfall in March.
Throughout March, just five mm of rain fell over Cobden and surrounds, well down on the long-term average.
The long-term average for Cobden is 48.3mm.
The wettest day of the month was on March 20, which saw a total of 2.2mm fall in the 24 hour period.
So far this year, a total of 48.3mm of rain has hit the ground over Cobden and surrounds compared to 160.6mm for the same time last year.
