The stroke event was well contested, with Matthew Walker finishing on nett 66 to take division one and the monthly medal, with Norm Hardingham the runner-up on nett 69.
In division two Mick Smith won the monthly medal with nett 75 from Mike Herrin with nett 76.
Donna Weller had the best ladies’ score with nett 72 from Judy Delaney with nett 73.
Nearest the pins: 5th Steve Plozza, 7th Cody Noonan, 10th Tori Ziegelaar and 14th Lynne Newton.
The Nutrien ball on the 11th was won by Neil Gowland and the South West Car Care ball on the 13th was won by Gordon Broderick.
On Thursday the 12 holes Kazza’s Railway View Hotel Chicken Day was won by Jimmy Brittain with 26 points from Steve Plozza with 24.
Nearest the pin on the 5th was Luke Smith and on the 14th Cody Noonan. Next week will be a phantom draw.
This Friday, September 29, grand final eve will be a four-person ambrose (any combination) men/ladies/mixed, with a lamb spit roast lunch.
Be there at 10am for a 10.30am shotgun start.

Drizzly, wet conditions met golfers at the course last Wednesday.
Only seven players took part in stroke and putting.
The winner was Lynne Newton, playing off 19 handicap, with 92 gross and 73 nett.
Lynne was also the winner of the putting with 32 putts for the day.
Runner-up, on a count back, was Donna Weller, playing off 10 handicap, with 87 gross and 77 nett.
Ball down the line went to Judy Walsh, playing off 15 handicap, with 92 gross and 77 nett.
