Shopping fun: Cobden Visitor Information Centre volunteer Wendey Matheson encourages residents to call in for a Meet the Makers event next week.
HAVE you ever wondered who the brains behind some of the local products stocked at the Cobden Visitor Information Centre are?
Now is your chance to find out more while enjoying late night shopping
Centre co-ordinator Juli Dwyer said a ‘Meet the Makers’ event has been organised for Thursday, November 23 between 10am and 8pm.
“We’re doing late night shopping ahead of Christmas,” she said.
“Author Gregory Wane will be there and Sarah will be here with her sterling silver jewellery, essential oils and more.
“Come along and make some oily magic and have some great chats.”
Mrs Dwyer said the Meet the Makers event was the perfect opportunity for residents to find out more about the products in the centre.
“If anyone wants to know anything about the range of products, call in,” she said.
“There will also be specials available on the night.”
