Men’s shed rolls up door
THE Simpson Men’s Shed was the place to be last Thursday.

THE Simpson Men’s Shed was the place to be last Thursday.
An open day was held at the shed giving community members an opportunity to call in and see what the shed was all about.
Simpson and District Community Centre co-ordinator Debbie Smith said it was a “really successful day”.
“We had a lot of people turn up along with some prospective members and members that haven’t been to the shed in awhile,” she said.
“The men were really happy with the turn-out.
“We hope to get back to doing more days like this.”
Mrs Smith said the group was busy with a number of projects at the moment including making picnic tables for the Simpson Primary School.
The Simpson Men’s Shed is open each Monday and Thursday between 9.30am and 4pm.
Anyone wanting to find out more can drop into the shed during open hours.
