Mortlake Bowls
This week in Mortlake was pretty pedestrian compared to the previous week.

This week in Mortlake was pretty pedestrian compared to the previous week.
One thing we forgot last week was to submit photos of the women’s pairs champions Di and Gert, men’s pairs champions George and Richard and the grandfather-granddaughter combination of Max and Bec Heard.
This week, they say, the third time is the charm. So this Saturday morning at 10am, women’s and men’s B grade finals will be played.
Thanks to the players and spectators for your patience and apologies for the inconvenience. Come down and watch the action in the women’s B grade final, where Rita Pasque takes on Harmony
Rasmussen, and the men’s B grade final of Scott Pierce versus Justin Rasmussen.
More history was made this week as the father-daughter combination of Justin and Harmony play a final on the same day.
The mixed pairs finals will be advised in due course.
Club fours will be held on Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24. Get your entries in as soon as possible as the cut-off date is next weekend. Sign-up sheet is in the box outside the main entrance.
Presentation night is on Saturday, April 30 at Mount Shadwell Hotel Mortlake. Sign-up sheet is also in the box.
That’s about all for now so we’ll see you next week.
