ACCESS to Moyne Shire Council’s customer Service Centre at Mortlake may be altered over the coming weeks as essential building works are completed.
ACCESS to Moyne Shire Council’s customer Service Centre at Mortlake may be altered over the coming weeks as essential building works are completed.
Mayor Ian Smith said contractors will be on-site over the next few weeks replacing the roof on part of the building.
He said while staff will continue to work as normal, there may be some changes to public access.
“The work is happening at the end of the building where the customer service counter is located and above the main entrance,” he said.
“So there may be times when that will have to be closed.
“If that does happen there will be signage on-site to direct customers how to access the building via a temporary entrance.
“While it’s inconvenient to have access interrupted for our residents, the works being completed will ensure the council offices remain serviceable for our staff and the community.”
