THE Derrinallum Lismore Community Association (DLCA) is helping to preserve a piece of local history as well as helping mark Christmas.
The history rooms windows at 46 Main Street Derrinallum have two displays – with lights on between 8.30pm and 10pm.
The windows are featuring the nativity set which had been displayed at the Derrinallum Catholic Church for many years.
The Derrinallum Catholic Church celebrated the final Mass on April 24 this year, with the church building now under private ownerships.
The nativity set is in the care of the Lismore-Derrinallum parishioners.
The DLCA said it was their privilege to be able to display the set “for all to see and appreciate at Christmas time”.
