New butcher opens doors
TIMBOON once again has a butcher in the town with Bouchier’s Timboon Butchers opening its doors recently.

Proprietor Brendan Bouchier, who has had a butcher shop in Mortlake for 18 years and is renowned for his smallgoods range, is excited to have the shop open.
“It’s been really good so far and we’ve been made to feel really welcome,” he said.
“The support has been fantastic.”
Mr Bouchier said he chose the area to open a new shop due to the already established foodie trail.
“We’re so rapt to have this opportunity,” he said.
“It’s been such a breath of fresh air.
“It’s such a beautiful little town.”
Mr Bouchier has a wide range of products on offer including his popular smallgoods items.
“We’ve got a dry aging fridge and we’re looking at doing dry aged beef down the track,” he said.
Bouchier’s Timboon Butchers, which is located at the same site as the previous butchers, is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 9am and 5.30pm and Saturday between 9am and 1pm.
