No change to volleyball ladder
FOR the first time this season, match results resulted in no positional changes to the Corangamite Volleyball ladder.
It was a case of ‘steady as you can’ in round four.
Leaders Bulls and Poachers enjoyed two wins each to consolidate the top spots, while Ballbusters were able to keep NOBTS at bay to hold on to third place.
NOBST stumbled again against Bulls who appear to have their measure in tight situations.
Despite sitting sixth, Cowgirls pushed their opponents, Bulls and Ballbusters, and won’t be too far away from their second win.
Freeballers have lost some key personnel but are gradually introducing their unique system to their new players.
It won’t be long before they regain momentum.
With half the season over, Bulls probably hold the upper hand but the five other teams will have their own ideas about that.

NOBTS def Freeballers 3-1, Ballbusters def Cowgirls 2-1, Bulls def Cowgirls 2-1, Poachers def Ballbusters 3-0, Bulls def NOBTS 2-1 and Poachers def Freeballers 4-0.
Ladder after October 29: Bulls 26, Poachers 24, Ballbusters 18, NOBTS 16, Freeballers 8, Cowgirls 4.
