In what was a low-scoring affair last Saturday, the Pelicans had Pomborneit all out for 63 and finished the day at 4/67 thanks to the handywork of openers Eddie Lucas, 21, and Simon Baker who contributed 22.
Best of the bowlers were Michael Winzar with 4/19 off 10, Louis Darcy 2/20 off eight and Charlie Lucas 2/3 off four.
The Pelicans will now take on Cobden for premiership honours this Saturday.
Bookaar’s division three side wasn’t quite so fortunate last weekend, going down by just one run to Princetown, 124 to 9/125.
Tim Lucas proved best with the bat for the Pelicans, finishing on a creditable 59, while best of the bowlers were Myles Sinnott 3/21 off eight, Jayden Barker 2/19 off eight and Wilba Cheeseman 1/27 off six.
