Delia Robertson presented the Cobden and District Historical Society Inc with a school book – a 1921 second edition school magazine – used at the Carpendeit School.
The land for the Methodist Church, Carpendeit Hall and Carpendeit school were situated on land donated by her great grandfather Tom Anson.
Mrs Robertson is fifth generation on the property and she believes her father, Len, would have received the book as a student in 1914.
It is filled with stories, songs, poems, Colac advertisements and a picture puzzle.
Mrs Robertson said she was happy to be able to donate the book to the society.
Society member Jennifer Kripp thanked Mrs Robertson for the donation.
“Mrs Robertson has donated several school photos and information,”she said.
“We thank her for this donation. Books 100 years in age are scarce and must be treasured.
“Our society is interested in any photos and stories of the pioneer days of your families.”
