CAMPERDOWN Homing Club raced pigeons from Mildura last weekend.

CAMPERDOWN Homing Club raced pigeons from Mildura last weekend.

A distance of 500 kilometres was covered.

This race was nominated as the Steve Trigar Perpetual trophy and was won by Graeme McKenzie.

Graeme also came fourth in the open combine competition against flyers from Colac, Warrnambool, Portland and Camperdown.

The Camperdown race results were as follows:

1st: G and S. McKenzie (velocity 1501.07 m/mins), 2nd: Rex Perkins (velocity 1031.18 m/mins).

This weekend a race will be held from Hill in New South Wales.

Basketing is at 5pm Friday.
