Pink day at Timboon golf

TIMBOON Golf Club was awash with pink last Wednesday, October 4, as players raised funds for breast cancer research.

TIMBOON Golf Club was awash with pink last Wednesday, October 4, as players raised funds for breast cancer research.

The fun day, sponsored by Steph and Judy Delaney, saw players dressed in pink and enjoying a round of 3BBB stroke.

Maureen Clements had a blinder of a game, getting onto all four par three hole and winning the nearest the pin on three of them.

The team of Maureen, Linda McKenzie, Biddy Weel and Cathy Joiner were the clear winners with nett 58.

To top off Maureen’s great day, she also won the raffle.

The nearest the pin 14th was won by Heather Finlayson.

Runners-up were Heather, Judy Walsh and Steph Delaney with nett 62.

The ball down the line went to the team of Debbie Norton, June Ayres and Suzanne Wallace with a 65 nett.

Thanks to the DD sponsors, Steph and Judy, who also provided a lovely, pink afternoon tea.
