POLICE are investigating two accidents over the long weekend in Camperdown and surrounds.

POLICE are investigating two accidents over the long weekend in Camperdown and surrounds.
On Friday at about 5pm, a vehicle travelling east on Manifold Street Camperdown collided with another vehicle, according to a police spokesperson.
“A vehicle attempted to complete a U-turn and collided with another car,” the spokesperson said.
“Both vehicles came to a complete stop.
“The female driver of the offending vehicle left the accident scene.”
On Monday at about 5.30pm a driver travelling west on the Princes Highway in a utility vehicle towing a caravan, was hit side on by another vehicle.
“Travelling right at the same time was a male driver in a van,” the spokesperson said.
“It’s believed the van has clipped the rear view mirror ofthe other vehicle and then thecaravan being towed.
“It’s caused it to run off the highway into a fence. The caravan was destroyed.”
There was no injuries reported from the accident, which occurred about 500 metres west of the Darlington-Camperdown Road.
Investigations into both accidents were ongoing at the timeof publication.
