KOLORA Noorat’s senior footballers have their eyes on finals with just three rounds of the home and away season remaining.

The Power now sits third on the Warrnambool District ladder after last weekend’s percentage boosting 126-point win over Old Collegians.

In front of a home crowd last weekend, the Power led from the first bounce, kicking 7.3 to 1.4 in the opening term before extending their lead to 74 points by the main break.

A low-scoring third quarter saw the home side add just 1.3 to the board while the visitors kept up with 1.2.

The Power finished off strongly in the final term, kicking seven goals 10 while restricting Old Collegians to just one behind.
Final scores were Kolora Noorat 22.19.151 to Old Collegians 3.7.25.

Lucas Boyd kicked six for the Power, while Fred Beasley added four, Sam Uwland three and two apiece from Nicholas Castersen and Caleb Kavenagh.

Paddy Baker, Declan Barbary, George Beasley, Joel Dillon and Stephen O’Connor each kicked a goal while Beasley, O’Connor, Samuel Kenna, Ed Lee, Uwland and Jacan Brooks were named best.

Kolora Noorat’s reserves enjoyed a well-earned 73-point win, 14.10.94 to 3.3.21.

William Ryan, Tyler Beasley, Bohdie Gill, Harry Stuart, Ethan Wyss and Rhys Cottam-Starkey were named best for Power.

Cottam-Starkey kicked four for the day while Bohdie Gill (3), Ethan Wyss (3), Jehrin Bateman, Tyler Beasley and Dale Evans were also contributors.

Kolora Noorat’s under 18s continued their dominance with a 65-point win last weekend, 11.20.86 to 3.3.21.

Bohdie Gill, Max Kavanagh, Eitan Brooks, Caleb Kavanagh, Tyler Barrett and Jack Pekin were named best for the victors while goals went to Levin Cootesmith, Bohdie Gill, Hamish Molan and Jack

Pekin (with two each), Lucas Castersen, Isaac Cootesmith and William Kenna (one each).

On the netball courts, Kolora Noorat continued its A grade success, with the side holding on to third spot on the ladder, two games clear of the fourth-placed Panmure, after last weekend’s 43-37 goal victory.

The side was the only one to taste victory on Saturday, with A reserve defeated 26-44, B grade 21-49, 17 and unders 26-43, 15 and unders 17-52 and 13 and unders 16-24.
