KOLORA Noorat’s senior footballers are finals bound.

The Power now sits in fourth spot on the Warrnambool and District League ladder, on equal points with Russells Creek in fifth but two games clear of Allansford in sixth with just one round remaining.

Second-placed Nirranda proved too strong last weekend, defeating the Power by 39-points, 9.10.64 to 3.7.25.

Tom McKenzie, Stephen O’Connor, Nick Marshall, Ryan O’Connor, Fred Beasley and Benjamin Moloney were all named in the best while goals went to Tom McKenzie, Ben Moloney and Sam Uwland.

The Powers’ reserves won’t make finals but will be hoping to add win number seven for their final game this Saturday.

Nirranda defeated Kolora Noorat 8.8.56 to 2.1.13 with Bradley Johnson, Fion Neeson, Paul McSween, Joshua Freeman, George O’Sullivan and George Beasley named in the best.

Nathan Glennen and Ethan Wyss finished the day with a goal each.

The Powers’ under 18 side is also finals bound, currently sitting second on the ladder on equal points but just percentage behind leaders, Timboon.

Last weekend’s 43-point win over Nirranda (8.12.60 to 2.5.17) saw goals to Tarkyn Love (3), Wilba Cheeseman, Cooper Dunn, Jack Pekin, Jack Vaughan and Ethan Wyss.

Named among the best were Tyler Barrett, Brock Stephens, Ted Kenna, Tarkyn Love, Ben Carlin and Hamish Molan.

On the netball courts, Kolora Noorat lost all senior games while the juniors won three from three.

A grade – Nirranda defeated Kolora Noorat 63-40.

A reserve – Nirranda defeated Kolora Noorat 57-20.

B grade – Nirranda defeated Kolora Noorat 46-19.

17 and under – Kolora Noorat defeated Nirranda 29-25.

15 and under – Kolora Noorat defeated Nirranda 44-10.

13 and under – Kolora Noorat defeated Nirranda 30-9.

The Power will face Allansford this Saturday for the final home and away round.
