The preliminary final clash with the Tigers proved a tough one for the Power, who struggled to make a dent on the scoreboard throughout the afternoon.
The Tigers went into the main break with a handy 19-point lead before extending that to 33 points by three-quarter time.
A three goal to one final term saw the Tigers finish the day at 12.10.82 to 5.10.40.
Best for the Power were Benjamin Moloney, Lucas Boyd, Joel Moloney, Justin Wallace, Sam Uwland and Declan Barbary.
Goals went to Lucas Boyd (3) and Declan Barbary.
After finishing on top of the ladder with just one loss during the home and away season, the Power’s under 18s have earned themselves a spot in this weekend’s grand final following a preliminary final win over Dennington last Saturday.
They will come up against Timboon on Saturday and will be hoping to reverse their 29-point loss to the Demons in the qualifying final a fortnight ago.
Last Saturday’s preliminary final saw the Power defeat Dennington by 15 points, 5.12.42 to 4.3.27.
Caleb Kavanagh, Ted Kenna, Oscar Curran, Jack Vaughan, Xavier Riches and Ethan Wyss were named in the best for the Power.
Goals went to Eitan Brooks, Oscar Curran, Caleb Kavanagh, Ted Kenna and Jack Pekin.
