POWERCOR crews made repairs to the network in Camperdown on Monday.
A Powercor spokesperson said the repairs were made after reports of a fallen powerline in Ferguson street just before 11am.
“It was reported that a garbage truck brought down the wire,” the spokesperson said.
“One customer had a power outage while crews made repairs, which were complete shortly after 1pm.
“Our strong advice to anyone who comes across a fallen powerline is to always treat it as live, stay well away and report it to us on 13 24 12.”
