Played under lights at Reid Oval on Saturday night, the round six match proved a one-sided affair shortly after the opening term.

Nirranda got off to a quick start, booting 6.4 in the first term while containing the Power to just one behind.

They continued to exert pressure all over the ground in the second term to go into the main break with a commanding 55-point lead.

All attempts by the Power to get back into the game in the third quarter were squashed by the in-form Nirranda side who went on to kick a further 12 goals in the second half to win 22.23.155 to 3.3.21.

Kolora Noorat was best served by Jarrod Evans, Caleb Scanlon, Riley Kelly (making his senior debut), Aaron Robertson, Jack Carlin and Mitchell Wyss.

Carlin, Justin Wallace and Wyss were the only goal kickers for the Power.

Round six also proved a troublesome one for the Power’s reserves, who went down by 42-points 1.2.8 to 6.14.50.

Harry Stuart, Jehrin Bateman, Sam Fedley, Jack Pekin, Ryan Harvey (one goal) and Bradley Johnson were named in the best.

It was also a tough round for Kolora Noorat’s senior netballers who lost all three games, while in the juniors, the 17s and 13s were both victorious.

A reserve: Nirranda defeated Kolora Noorat 48-20.
