Prelim for Magpies
CAMPERDOWN’S finals campaign will continue this weekend for the club’s 17 and under, and 17 and under reserve netballers.
Camperdown’s 17 and under netballers went down to Koroit in last Saturday’s qualifying final, 42-56, and will now face South Warrnambool in this weekend’s preliminary final.
Best for the Magpies were Indiana Cameron, Isobel Sinnott and Greta Neal.
The finals series also continues for the 17 and under reserves after defeating Warrnambool 22-10 last Sunday.
They will face Koroit in this Saturday’s preliminary final.
In the 13 and under reserves, Camperdown was defeated by Warrnambool 18-19.
Best for the Magpies were Daisy Courtney, Ruby Johnston and Essi Myers.
Camperdown’s under 18 footballers went down to Warrnambool Blues by 23 points in last Sunday’s semi-final, ending their finals campaign.
Final scores were Warrnambool 10.6.66 to Camperdown 6.7.43.
Best for the Magpies were Myles Sinnott, Aidan Conheady, Wilba Cheeseman, Darcy Vick, Daniel Ryan and Brock Stephens.
Conheady and Tarkyn Love each kicked two goals while Tom Baker and Taj Field added one each.
