TWENTY members of Terang and District Probus Club travelled to Ballarat last Tuesday to see the display of Begonias.

The members were blown away by the different types of Begonias grown in the purpose-built facility in the magnificent Ballarat gardens beside Lake Wendouree.

The Begonias were seen at their best as the annual Begonia Festival is traditionally held on the Labour Day weekend.

Members travelled around the lake for lunch on the water’s edge – another enjoyable view.

Members were entertained on their trip by the tricky quiz expertly conducted by Marg Connellan and Faye Phillips.

Thanks also goes to Barry Phillips as the bus driver.

Members will meet again on April 6 and visitors are most welcome.
