QUILTS of all sizes, shapes and colours will be hung in all their glory next month.

QUILTS of all sizes, shapes and colours will be hung in all their glory next month.
The Camperdown Clocktower Quilters Quilting and Stitching Exhibition will be held on April 9 and 10.
The normally biennial exhibition has not been able to be held due to COVID in recent years, according to group president Bruce Kirk.
“There is usually about 70 to 75 quilts on exhibition,” he said.
“It’s a display of the work we do.
“We’re looking forward to it. We normally get good patronage.”
As well as a variety of quilts, the exhibition will also feature examples of other forms of stitching.
Mr Kirk said the group has about 25 members and meets once a month.
“We’ve given away about 74 quilts in the last three and a half years to people in need in the community,” he said.
“We meet in the McCabe room at the rear of the Camperdown Library on the last Wednesday of each month at 7pm.”
The Camperdown Clocktower Quilters Quilting and Stitching Exhibition will be held at the St Paul’s Anglican Church Hall in Church Street Camperdown on April 9 and 10 between 10am and 4pm.
Admission is $5 for an adult and $2.50 for students.
Mr Kirk said the group’s raffle would also be drawn on Sunday, April 10 at the exhibition, with final tickets available that weekend.
He said tickets are $2 each or three for $5.
