Rainfall on lower end

SEPTEMBER proved to be yet another dry month across Cobden and district.

SEPTEMBER proved to be yet another dry month across Cobden and district.

A total of 40.6mm of rain fell across Cobden for the month, representing half of the long-term average of 87mm.

The highest daily rainfall was 16mm which was recorded on September 9.

So far this year, a total of 588.2mm of rain has hit the ground over Cobden and surrounds, well down on the 650mm for the same time last year.
